There is nothing more terrifying than being a victim of crime. Even if it is a relatively minor occurrence and you come out of it safe, it can really mess with your sense of trust. If you want to prevent crime, think about what risks you are currently taking. Is your house locked up securely? Is your neighborhood a safe one? Do you go into unsafe neighborhoods? Do you carry pepper spray, mace, or some other sort of self-defense weapon? Just a few simple precautions can really go a long way towards keeping you safe.
