There are a few things in life that you can breeze through, but one of them is not signing contracts. There are some good contract forms in San Diego out there, but if you are not presented with one of these, you do not know what you are getting into. Even when it comes to confronting a contract that is considered to be a good one, you have to read it, see what you do and do not like, and then negotiate until you are sure you are good with what is expected of you and the other party.
